Happy Halloween from the Macks of Oz!

This was our first year making Jack-O-Lanterns. The girls designed them online and I printed out a stencil and carved them. They were very forgiving when they were not exactly what they designed. These girls are the Best! Maya Ruth designed the one on the right. The pumpkins are both girls.
I thought they would enjoy scooping out the goop inside - not so much. :)





Mimi got in on the fun as the Wicked Witch. The girls dressed as Dorothy and Glenda the Good Witch. I dressed as Aunt Em- I am waiting for a friend to email a picture of all of us. I will post it asap. Here are a few for now:

We had our Alpine-family here celebrating with us. It was delightful!

Mimi made her world famous matzohball soup with carrot and parsnip flowers, and scrumptious charoses. I roasted a leg of goat in pico de gallo and we made tacos. Good people, good food, good wine, good times!

Christmas at Grandma Linda & Paw Paw's

The girls made "sugar mountain" cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve with Grandma. They left them out for Santa and left some sugar for the reindeer. :)
