more baby goats

These came on my birthday, first thing in the morning. There are 2 bucklings, 3-09 and 4-09 and one doeling, Kunana. This is our first set of triplets in the herd. Apricot is the dam. She one of Trixie's kids from last year.

The first baby goats of the season

Galen built a second pen with a larger shelter and we moved 5 of the 7 dams over to the new space. The first two kids were born just after dark on 4.23 and are Trixie's and they are bucklings (boys) They are so silly! It's wonderful. They are named 1-09 and 2-09.
This was just before the sun went down, facing our house from the new barn on the night Trix kidded.

The second dam, Genie, kidded this afternoon. She had two doelings. Maya named them Lilo and Nani.
