A good day for a mow

Galen rented a tractor for us to finally mow the yard. Of course, as soon as Maya Ruth saw it she had to climb up and check it out. I even tried it out by our rental proprty and it was FUN! It has an automatic tranny, so it is super easy to drive. Now we just have to rob an bank or win the lottery :)

Heaven

There are times when I wonder how I got so lucky. This is the life I always wanted. We are so blessed.

the littlest Mack

This one is growing up so fast! She can sit up now and is already loving to play the drum. I could do without her nights full of screaming, but her days full of babbling and grinning are priceless! Someday soon maybe she will actually cut a tooth!

Ride em cowgirl

Maya Ruth and Jenny have truly bonded. Can you believe how patient this animal is with her?

Make a wish!

We celebrated Maya Ruth's birthday on the 11th. Here she is blowing out her candle like the "big girl" she is. She leaned right in and almost lit her nose on fire. (woopsy!)

Shana Tova! (Happy New Year!)

Maya and Lucy are enjoying their first Rosh Hashana together. Mom (Holly) made us an awesome dinner and once the girls stopped their scream-fest, we had a lovely evening.

Tractor shopping was an eye opener. It seems I have to sell a kidney to afford the one we want. YIKES!

punk rock

Check out Lucy sporting her first mohawk! LOL!!!! I am trying to resist the urge to dye it purple. ;) Is it me or does she look totally bored with Momma snapping all these photos?
Now where did I put those baby go-go boots?

pretending to be daddy

We just had to snap these shots of Maya Ruth in Galen's gardening gear. She's ready for anything in those goggles! watch out weeds- she's ready to wack ya!

G'Mornin!

Both girls are up bright and early today.
I have a busy day of steam cleaning ahead of me. I am so ready to have a flea-free home again. My ankles are covered in bites. Poor Leeloo is ready too!
Also, very exciting, we are going tractor shopping at the Kabuta store today. Woohooo!

Aloha Yall!

Ok so here it is my very own blog. I am so excited but of course I have no time to write. I want to make a written commitment to write every day for at least 15 minutes (a la Flylady)
This morning Maya and I got up at 7, which is about an hour early for us. She actually spent the whole night in her own bed! TRIUMPH!!! now if I can just get Lil Lucy to stop crying for the boob in her sleep from 3am on, I will actually get a good nights rest.
